Mens | B. Braxton’s Men Spa [Harlem NY]

Little over a week ago I had the opportunity to visit B Braxton’s Mens spa located on 1400 5th Avenue @ 116th Street  Harlem, NY. And I have to say I got the best hair cut I’ve ever received. I got to meet Ms. Braxton at Kitty Bradshaw’s Meet & Tweet / Gifting Suite. And the pitch of her salon alone sold me, I was impressed to say the least. So I decided to pay a visit, I’m glad I did.

B Braxton Spa

The 2,000 sq ft spa is absolutely killer, the first thing struck me was how immaculately clean it was. You can always tell how well any barbershop ACTUALLY is by its restroom, IT WAS SPOTLESS! With African and Zodiac inspired accents, aroma therapy candles, decent soap and hand sanitizer. The Spa offers complementary cocktails while you wait. Some of the best state licensed barbers, and manicurist in the city. My barber whom was assigned to me, Vernon gave me the best line up I’ve ever received. My ceaser was sharp! And he used this citrus oil infused after-shave which was great. All his tools were clean, and what really stood out to me was that he washed his hands before touching my head at all.  The experience was very classy.

The Spa which is exclusively for men but your lady can have a drink while she waits. Offers gift packages starting at $80 up to $225 which can include everything from a manicure and pedicure, message, hair cut and facial. They’re basic services are actually quite competitively priced with a Ceaser’s  starting only $18, and a line-up starting at $8. B Braxton also offers natural hair services (Braids, Locs, etc) with amazing prices and excellent service and treatment. And they also do eyebrows and backs for those of us for are a little hairy….And the full monty for $50.

Overall, I fell in love with the service and the atmosphere of the entire spa and will be a returning customer. If your a man that likes to look good, is about high quality service, and is about your business and refinement B. Braxton is that place for. I HIGHLY recommend you pay a visit, if for nothing else than to try it out. But once you go Braxton you’ll never go back.
