It’s been a while since I’ve written a relationship blog. A great deal of my readers are always asking me to write about specific ways to meet gay men of standard other than online. There many ways and places to meet men out there, but I want to give you all a step by step guide to find a good guy in a little over a week without using the computer.
Day 1:
Take a social networking hiatus. That means tell your twitter followers, facebook friends, ooVoo & Skype contacts that you’re taking a little break. I know this seems extreme but it’s only for 7 day I’m telling you it’s going to help. If you have a blog or a tumblr you can continue to update it has normal.
Day 2.
Research local LGBT community and social groups in your area. Find out enroll or member of the ones that appeal most to you whether that be a singles group, singing, sewing, something based on age or race.
Day 3.
Talk to a stranger. Find a guy that you don’t know, it would be good if you can spot a gay one and do this but if not a straight man will work just as well. The object of this is not to get a phone number, or ask for a date but to push your comfort zone. See you can do it, push yourself to talk to someone, on the train, a bus, at starbucks, or wal-mart.
Day 4.
Actually go to one of the groups you researched, and talk to someone, build a conversation. Remember to smile!
Day 5.
Watch the news if don’t regularly, I like NBC or ABC and if you wanna get really fancy watch CNN for 30mins. Take some notes on things you found on things remotely interesting, Commit them to memory.
