There are many, many things I could say about the 2010 Video Music Awards. But to put it plainly, it sucked. But no means the atrocity the BET awards is but when compared to past years it paled greatly.
Other than the Chelsea Handler the star of the show was marvelous set design. It was one of the best I’ve ever seen for an award show. So Kudos to the VMA set design folks.
But let’s get to the real deal, The 2010 VMA’s was a shade fest!!!! Let’s start with Lady Gaga and her 13 Nods, the show only has 16 categories. And she won 8 out of 13… She deserved them her videos are amazing!!! But still when your nominated in 90% of the categories who’s your real competitor, Justin Bieber?
Speaking of Justin Bieber, Drake says “I quit” as Justin Bieber is announced as best new artist! I lived!!!
Next, Rihanna and Katy Perry,we all know Rihanna is the queen of VMA shade. Riri mouths to Katy “You Fancy Huh?” after Drizzy’s performance….
BUT THE HIGHEST SHADE OF THE EVENING GOES TO THE OFF KEY SINGING STYLINGS OF TAYLOR SWIFT! I bow down girl! I’m gonna let this one speak for itself,
