We Remember Aaliyah

9 years ago today On August 25, 2001, at 6:45 pm R&B lost one of it’s brightest starts. Singer, songwriter, Model, Actress, Dancer, Aaliyah Dana Haughton. We loved her because she was genuine enormously talented true triple threat. The industry loved her because she  was a down to heart sweetheart that everyone love to work with.

Singer Aaliyah

God doesn’t make mistakes, and in the sort time she was Aaliyah was here she certain left her mark! And that’s all any human being could ask. To be remembered and loved as a beautiful person.

This is one of my favorite songs from here last album. I remember when my older sister Yasmine first got it she played it at least 40 times over. “It’s Whatever” is stuck in my head forever!!! “Just Like The Birds That Whistle In The Tress At Peace So HappilyWell, You’re My Tree And Through My StormsYou Have Stood Strong For Me”

I remember this because Aaliyah died a week or two after my mom did. And this was one of the songs that help me pull it together. I wanna make this an open memorial post… please post your comments, videos, photos, and memories a of Aaliyah
